Quesadillas are made out of cheese
Look like/eat dish with: a quesadilla looks like a white tortilla with melted cheese in it but it can also be a golden yellow, dark brown or just burn with melted cheese in it. Also you can put any choice of meat inside of the quesadilla and a side that is good with quesadillas is yellow rice because there are many different ways to eat quesadillas.
Fun facts: the word quesadilla means “little cheese thing” also the word quesadilla is a mix of the word ques o meaning cheese and the word tortilla. The tortilla was popular among the Aztec people in the 16 century but they would put sweets into them to make desserts.Quesadilla is a favorite in the Northern part of mexico because When the Spanish settlers came to new Spain in 1521 they brought Oaxaca cheese that they started putting into the tortillas and then soon became the quesadilla.
who helped you make this dish/ something you learned : my Tia(aka) aunt and my mom helped me make this dish they explained how to make it and how step by step. Also my Tia made it in front of me and also let me try to do it. Also something i learned that i never knew about tortillas is that they hurt your hands after you make some but i also learned that they are very delicate when making them from scratch.
